CHR/Rhythmic WQUE-FM New Orleans was Christina's next stop. As the night jammer, she had the #1 rated
night show there with a (33.6 share!). Eventually, Christina became the production director and pulled the midday shift at WQUE. Christina moved to the nation's capital, Washington D.C. when she was
recruited by the #1 rated station there, WPGC-FM. During the time Christina was at WPGC, she was #1 in midday's for 6 straight years at WPGC. She also was the production director/creative director.
Christina always wanted to come back to Southern California and the beach. When the opportunity presented
itself, she landed a job in Los Angeles at Mega 100.3 (now Mega 92.3) as the midday host. You can hear Christina and "Jammin' Oldies" every weekday from 10-3. "I like getting paid to have
fun", and "never knowing what's going to happen from day to day" are two things she loves about being in radio broadcasting. Even though traveling from coast to coast can be difficult,
there are positive experiences to be gained. Christina feels that by moving around in your career you can develop "the ability to live in other cities and learn about many different regions and
cultures all around the U.S.A. And what did Christina learn from KBPK? "I learned to make every break count" said Christina.
