Dan has picked up two awards in the last few months. Earlier this year, he was named "KBPK Broadcaster of the Year" (right side of photo). On the morning of the day he received the award, Dan had an interview at the Highway Stations 98/99 in Barstow, CA. He started there as a weekend air personality, giving travelers to and from Las Vegas the information and music they need to make their drive more enjoyable. Dan says, "It's a fun job, and I get paid for it".

Having fun and a winning attitude was noticed by the station's management. Dan was named broadcaster of the month for September at the Highway Stations. He has also been promoted to full time overnight shift. "KBPK over prepared me and made my transition to working at the Highway Stations easier", Dan said. He is shooting for adding more plaques to his wall.
