After a brief stop in San Diego as the swing man at Q106, Dave went on to do nights at KWSS San Jose,
CA. After two years "Doctor Dave" landed weekends at WILD 107, KSOL San Francisco.
He worked his way up to be the morning show producer for morning madman Mancow, then became the fulltime
overnight air personality. Dave left San Francisco, but not his heart for radio segueing back to San Jose to do afternoon drive at Hot 97-7 KHQT. He was also sports director at the station.
Dave left being a disc jockey in 1995 to pursue a sports broadcasting career fulltime. "I just
couldn't see being a jock for more than ten years," said Dave. He then set up his own sport broadcast company and gained the radio rights to Santa Clara University basketball. Dave will call the
play by play as he heads into his sixth season. Dave is also heard all along the West Coast as a sports reporter on San Francisco's KCBS AM and as a news reporter on KSFO San Francisco.
