Jose was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. After taking english courses at Fullerton College, he became interested in
broadcasting. Jose enrolled in radio, sports broadcasting and television classes at FC. "After I left Fullerton College, I looked for a job in the LA market and couldn't find one that
interested me. So I took the advice from a friend (Ed Ford) to look for a job in a smaller market." Jose moved to Omaha, Nebraska and started working in a furniture store. "After
I was here for 4 months, I started looking for a job in radio and the only thing I found was a part-time job in the only Spanish station in Omaha."

After three months, The Journal Broadcast Group (one of the largest in the Midwest) offered him a full-time job. Jose is now the
morning drive personality for AM 1420 La Zeta de Omaha! His busy days also include producing radio commercials, remote broadcasts, and working as an account executive in the afternoon for La
Zeta. The station is the first Spanish station in Omaha and has been a complete success. During all this hard work and success, Jose became a new daddy. "I think this is the best
thing that has happened to me in the last year. I have a little girl, Ariana."
Jose is working with station management to get future sporting events on AM 1420 La Zeta de Omaha. His interest in sports stems from
playing soccer for many club teams in both Mexico and the U.S., and doing sports broadcasts on KBPK. "I am so proud of being a member of the alumni of Fullerton College Radio Program and I will
encourage anyone who loves radio to join the program. I was on the air at KBPK for almost 2 years and that definitely gave me the tools to get this job. Thank you very much to Jim Bain, Ed
Berger, Randy (Routier) in sports and to Ed Ford. I'm working very hard all the time, and from now on I am going to work harder."
