Lisa Osborn


	Since her days as part of the KBPK staff, Lisa Osborn has been on the air at several Los Angeles radio stations. She's heard weekends anchoring newscasts on KFI AM 640. Lisa also does radio in Ventura. She is program director and morning show host on adult standards formatted AM 1590 KKZZ. Her station was one of the 2005 finalists for the prestigious Marconi Award for Adult Standards station of the year. Lisa also does the midday shift on KKZZ's sister station, classic rock 95.9 FM, The Octopus. Early in her radio career, Lisa became known to Southern California commuters as a traffic reporter

on several radio stations, including KFI AM 640, KOST 103.5 FM and KBIG 104.3 FM. Her passion for traffic reporting led her to create Traffic411.com, one of the first Internet websites to offer real-time traffic information. Commuters can check out www.Traffic411.com before getting on the road to check on freeway speeds and traffic conditions.

"Coming to Fullerton College was a turning point in my career," said Lisa. "This program is run by professional broadcasters and offers tons of hands-on training for how to work in the radio industry. After coming to FC, I was able to land two part-time radio jobs very quickly." One of her first was as a financial reporter on KMNY 1600 AM Pomona (Money Radio).

Lisa has also used the skills she learned at Fullerton College to start her own audio production and voice over business (www.broadcastedge.net). The company produces 'marketing on-hold' and voicemail messages for corporate phone systems, and she is the friendly voice that greets passengers on Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus.
